timo.multamaki 19991129 en:www/w3b/ Gaia Leader - ingame debrief First the offgame part: - I never got my character (even now, after the game, it would be nice to have it) - Birtan briefed me before the game briefly, but enough. - I had very, very nice game - The atmosphere and the game location were very good Status report of Gaia --------------------- We were in a mission to obtain information about those capitalistic criminals who were destroying Mother Earth mercilessly. I had my trusted decker with me. The mission nature was reconnaise; scouting. Then for some reason we got two soldiers (cannonfodders). During the first night we tried to keep low profile, but when it was obvious that our position in the entertainer quarters were not safe I ordered our group to move in the morning hours in to the deserted corridor which I had prepared before. I believe that very few people actually saw us moving. Some 6 hours after the moving the RusGaz soldiers had problems in their hearing. We clearly warned that we will not like to receive them in our nest. They didn't understand. We shot warning shots above their heads. They started shooting back; to kill. So, possibilities were very few; to kill or to be killed. The other new guy, which I had made sniper of the unit (Flo), proved to be useful asset in that battle. It seemed that this battle started some other things, but for us it was very unfortunate that they dind't believe our warning. After we had shot some of them, it was quite clear that we can keep our corridor unless something unexpected happens (like COPS and RusGaz would ally). I started negotiating with all parties. Simultaneously I tried to find the informations to get us out of there and to find out what has really happened. The sniper guy who seemed to be very loyal and useful gave me some quite scaring information; it seemed possible that he would be behind this whole sceme. I asked the AI's to do some work for us. After 24h or so, I "rescued" the media team to spread our message instead of the corrupted message of RusGaz. We made them understand the ultimate truth, eventually. After it was quite evident that RusGaz would never let us away alive, (after that one half burned GI showed up) I started to organize our exit. There were people who were to be saved (luckily very few) and those who could be sacrificed. I detonated all of our explosives after sending a message to our HQ that somewhere in Alaska there will be an Earthquake at that time. We're there. That way I was able to order a lift for us. COPS leader seemed to be quite inward looking guy, which was of course excellent for our purposes. He didn't want anyone to fight in public places. We tried to get the gang to fight with anyone. That would had made even more chaos to operate more freely, but in the end that was not needed, as the gang leader proved to be easily predictable individual. The most unfortunate event was the moment when I noticed that one of my own man (luckily not Speedy) was dealing his private deals and he also tried to obtain drugs. As a I'm strictly against drugs I decided that lets give him a lesson; I said that if he'll ever again do something like defies my authority, I'll have to shoot him. As he seemed to be slow (mentally) I gave him two 'mercy' mistakes and eventually we disposed him after the third mistake. That was a clean disposal. His name should not be trashed. On the gravestone we should write:"Killed in Action xx September 2050, in Alaska" The dealer proved to be usuful, but in some occasions he was too capable. He almost proved me to be behind the bomb attack which we of course blamed the RusGaz. After the mission I can happily report that we have three new recruitees, who volunteered to join Gaia. Mission completed. Over and Out. --##break## ##html
